Let us get started!

Step 1: Never apply eye makeup without primer

Apply Primer

No matter how late you are for your brunch or work, if you have decided to apply smokey eyes, it is advised never to apply eye makeup without primer. Primer would cover all the blemishes and make the makeup last longer. Hence, apply a generous amount of primer over the eyelid and spread it to your brows.

Step 2: Layer your eyelids:

Keep in mind that the smokey eyes are for daytime, so let the shimmer eye makeup be subtle and soft. With the flat brush apply the shimmer eye shadow only on the eyelids and do not spread it to the crease.

Step 3: Blending the crease:

Once you have beautifully decorated the eyelids, take the fluffy brush and apply matte eye shadow on the crease. We suggest you to apply the eye shadow in a circular fashion or go for back and forth strokes, such a way that the eye shadow is distributed evenly on the crease.

Step 4: Beautifying the outer corner:

This is the highlight of the makeup, darkening the outer corner which would give the sensual smokey eyes. Apply the darkest shade using the fluffy brush and start it from the outer corner of your eyelids and then blend it into the crease, avoid blending it all the way to the eyelid. If you wish, you can smudge the darkest eye shadow on the lower lash line.

Step 5: Eyeliner and mascara:
