We are in love with South Indian movies; full of drama, romance, action, comedy, thriller, and what not. Just as Bollywood movies, they’ve made us crazy for insane action scenes, spectacular views, most of the luxury cars, bungalows, and their glamorous actresses.

South Indian actresses are those who proved beauty comes in all shape and size, and to be an actress you don’t need to be a size zero or skinny and they’ve proved their point by giving a number of hits.

But, there are many South Indian actress who deserves a more limelight than they are getting for their acting skills and talent they got. We’re penning down few names from the industry that surely deserves applause for the roles they portrayed- 

Raashi Khanna:
Raashi is another name in the list which we feel deserves more limelight than they are getting. She has debuted as a Bollywood actress in the film Madras Cafe and later made her way to South Indian movies by making a debut in movie Oohalu Gusagusalade. 

Keerthi Suresh: Keerthi Suresh is another south Indian actress who has impeccable acting skills. She has made her debut as a child actor back in 2000 and after completing her graduation in designing, she returned in the year 2013 in movie Geethaanjali. 

Amala Paul:

Amala Paul is an Indian film actress who has been recognized and received critical acclaims for a character in the film Sindhu Samaveli. Her romantic drama Mynaa made her popular in the industry. 

Nazriya Nazim: 

She is another actress who needs more attention of public than she is got for her acting skills. Starting her career as an anchor on any Malayalam television channel and then later pursued her acting career. Raja Rani, Bangalore Days, Neram, Naiyaandi are few best movies of this talented actress. 

Shriya Saran: Remember the mother in Drishyam? Well, that was played by Shriya. She made her debut in 2001. Shriya has worked in the much regional industry of Indian cinema that includes Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil movies, As well as, this talented actress has worked in few English, Kannada, and Malayalam movies. 

Parvathy: Parvathy is not just another actress in South Indian film industry; she has given many hits but still did not have the attention she is worthy for her superb acting skills. She made her debut in the year 2006 in some Malayalam film and since then she just enhanced herself with each movie she has done. 

Catherine Tresa: Catherine was born and brought up in Dubai which made it difficult for her to speak South Indian languages fluently. She made her acting debut in Kannada movie Shankar IPS in 2010 and had received many awards for the movie Madras. She is so amazing but unfortunately isn’t recognized by many. 

Trisha Krishnan: There is no doubt what Trisha has achieved but now she is missing all the limelight and movies too because of the new faces entered in the industry.

Trisha made her debut in 2004 in Telugu industry and then gave many hits. In a recent year, her popularity and movie count got reduced. 

Richa Gangopadhyay: Actress and model that predominantly appeared in Telugu films as well as in Tamil and Bengali films! In August 2007, she has won Miss Michigan pageant and then in December 2007, she was crowned Miss India USA.

Mayakkam Enna was the movie which made her collect many awards, but still, it failed her to get the attention that she deserved. 

Amyra Dastur: She started her career as a model in TV commercials like Clean and Clear, Vodafone, and so at the age of 16. She made her debut with Issaq movie and later took a step into South Indian films. Amyra is another actress in South Indian film industry who deserves to get attention.
